Maasai Mara is arguably the most visited where virtually every wildlife is to be spotted with over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. A chance to spot lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, elephant and many more in plenty within the greater Mara ecosystem which plays host to the annual 7th wonder of world, the yearly migration of over 2 million wildebeest and zebras (July to October), following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures, always ready to make a kill!. An experience of a life time for any visitor to witness such a rare phenomenon.

Lake Nakuru, on the bed of the Great Rift Valley has earned its fame as home of the greatest bird spectacle in the world, a myriad of more than a million pink flamingo wading in the alkaline waters, and from a distance looking pink ringed. It’s safe haven for the endangered and highly protected black and white rhino and offers a good possibility of spotting the elusive Leopard as well as Rothschild giraffe, water-buck, buffalo, vervet monkeys, gazelles among others.

At Lake Naivasha you have the option of visiting Crescent Island or spending the afternoon on an exciting boat ride, watch over hippos, water-bucks among other wildlife species.

Tsavo East, is home to red elephants of Tsavo, among others in plenty and the legendary “Man Eaters of Tsavo”, a pride of marauding lions which terrorized maimed and killed railway construction workers in 1889, has marvelous natural attractions some ideal to spot majority of the game including the Aruba dam, favorite watering point for the parks wildlife.

Amboseli National park with its stunning back drop of the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro, the only free standing mountain in the world, can be seen early morning and in the evening, weather permitting. The park is indeed a photographers paradise known for its huge concentration of African elephants can be spotted in large numbers as well as Cheetah, hyenas, buffalos, Topi, Zebra, Giraffes among other wildlife and bird species, a must visit for any visitor.

ITENERARY

DAY 1: AIRPORT – MAASAI MARA

Arrive at the Airport, you will be met, greeted and welcomed by a LiReise team representatives, escorted to your waiting safari vehicle and depart to Maasai Mara via the great Rift Valley with a stopover at the view point, see the escarpment and photograph, proceed onward before arriving at the lodge on time for lunch. Later in the evening set-out for a game drive, searching for the Big Five among others in plenty, return for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

Spend the whole day, after breakfast on a game drive with your packed lunches, offers a great chance to spot diverse array of good game the park is renowned for, visit the banks of river Mara, the crossing point during the great migration period, later you can opt to visit a Maasai cultural homestead at an extra cost and your driver/guide will assist you in negotiating the fee with the Maasai elder, later return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: MAASAI MARA - LAKE NAKURU

Breakfast then depart to Lake Nakuru National park, game drive as you search for the rhino, leopard, water buck, buffalo, among others plus variety of birds species with which the park is well known for including flamingo's, pelican, cormorants, fish eagle among others, lunch before you set off again for another game drive in the evening, return back for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: L. NAKURU – L. NAIVASHA

Check-out after early breakfast to Lake Naivasha game drive at Hells Gate National park, before settling for lunch. Thereafter time is spent at leisure, you can opt for a boat ride around the lake at an extra cost, watch over hippos, and other wild animals on the shores plus variety of bird species, including cormorant, pelicans, kingfisher among others, dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: L.NAIVASHA – TSAVO EAST

Early morning breakfast, check-out and depart to Tsavo East, enter the park via the nearest gate, a game drive en-route as you search for the red elephants of Tsavo among others, arrive at the lodge and settle for lunch, followed by evening game drive, return back for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: TSAVO EAST – AMBOSELI

Breakfast, check-out and depart to Amboseli depart to Amboseli National park, a game drive en-route with herds of African Elephant in plenty to be spotted among other wildlife species, arrive at the Lodge on time for lunch, followed by evening game drive, watching over the stunning peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, return back for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: AMBOSELI - AIRPORT

Wake up early in the morning watch over the stunning view of Mt Kilimanjaro weather permitting, breakfast later check-out and depart to Nairobi, and be dropped at the airport or place of stay.
