Queen Elizabeth National Park is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. The park’s diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primates species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds.

ITENERARY

DAY 1.

Our tour guide/driver will pick you up from the Hotel at exactly 6:30am in a customized pop-up safari van. Take advantage of a photo opportunity at the Equator,do some brief shopping of snacks and coffee plus a toilet break. Then depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive at the lodge and check in briefly and head out for an evening game drive. After the game drive head back to the lodge for night.

Note: Accommodation provided consists of safari tents with twin beds and shared washroom facilities. Upgrades to en-suite bandas is available on request:

DAY 2.

{06:30}
- Early morning breakfast at the lodge and then depart for an early morning game drive. This park has an open Savannah which offers a classic safari experience, with a good opportunity to spot lions,huge herds of kobs, elephant, water-buck and possibly even the leopard.

{12:00}
- Stop at the Queen Pavilion visitor information centre for a packed lunch while enjoying the view of the park and the surrounding area. After take the 27km long crater explosion drive. This drive affords stunning views of the enormous craters, the rift valley Escarpment and the kazinga channel.

{15:00}
- Depart for a 2hour boat cruise at kazinga channel after a magnificent crater drive. The boat cruise offers wide variety view of wildlife like buffalo, elephant, monitor lizards, water bird species as well as crocodiles and hippos in water.

{18:00} - Arrive back at the lodge for another night.

DAY 3.

Early morning breakfast at the lodge and then depart for kyambura Gorge forest where you will do chimpanzee trekking with a guide. The forest is home to chimpanzees, other forest primates and different bird species.

{10:00}
- Return to Kampala having a stop in fort port to get packed lunch at a local restaurant organized by the tour guide/driver and arrive back to your hotel at 18:00 depending on traffic.
